That may seem like a lot of titles, but the truth is, I’ve never really felt like I fit neatly into one category. Some may call me multi-passionate, but I much prefer the term “portfolio entrepreneur.”

My career trajectory has been anything but linear. Throughout my career, I’ve been focused on three pillars: writing, education, and strategy.

I’ve worked with big brands and medium-sized businesses in a variety of industries, as well as solopreneurs, small business owners, non-profit organizations, and educational institutions.

Long story short, I love teaching and learning. I am a lifelong learner who is passionate about helping students and young professionals succeed. My passion is fueled by my drive to create world-class learning experiences for students at every educational level, from secondary to professional.

UX Designer, Web Developer, Graphic Designer, and Educator

I am an experienced design and user experience professional who has worked on both the agency and client/brand side. An artist at heart, my multifaceted career has included roles as a musician, audio engineer, painter, collagist, and psychiatric researcher.

As a creative leader, I have spearheaded projects involving the development of user interfaces, environments, and comprehensive brand experiences. With over two decades of experience in design, I am constantly working to bridge the gap between artistic expression and functional design.

My passion for teaching has brought me back to the roots of design, where I aim to inspire the next generation of creative professionals. Outside of work, I enjoy nurturing plants, baking bread, birdwatching, and exploring the world of craft beer. These hobbies reflect my love of knowledge, personal and professional growth, and discovering the simple pleasures in life.

I’m driven by curiosity, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a firm belief in the power of design to solve real-world problems, inspire change, and improve lives.
